"The nose is rich with ripe currants and raspberries along with a beautiful bottle bouquet of tobacco leaf, pie spices, and shaved dark chocolate. Very rich in the mouth, with hints of ripe currants and fresh figs. With time, the tannins have softened and the acidity has sustained yielding a surprisingly fresh fruit core and silky texture."

"Dark cherry notes dominate the nose. It is still quite full of fresh fruit with bottle bouquet aromas of earth, cedar, and black pepper gathering around the edges. There is an enticing hint of black olive, anise and dried herb. In the mouth, the wine is still quite fruit-forward with a rich structure and full body leading to a seamless and long finish."
